State Laws and State Court Decisions
This page contains links to two of the free on-line directories of
state law resources, including state constitutions, state statutes, and
state court opinions. Simply go to either of these on-line directories and
locate the state you wish to research and then the specific type of state
law you would like to research.
The New York Slip Opinion Service provides access to
Recently
Released Decisions prior to publication in the Official Reports,
together with an electronic citation for each decision. The
New York State Law
Reporting Bureau, under the direction of a State Reporter appointed
by the New York State
Court of Appeals, edits and prepares for publication all of the
decisions of the Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division as well as
selected decisions of the trial-level courts.
FindLaw: State
Resources provides access to a wide range of state law resources, including
state constitutions, state statutes, state court opinions, and state law
resources.
The State
Court Locator is a service provided for by the Villanova
University School of Law and provides links to state court opinions
and other resources.
