When will I be able to get a copy of the conference agenda? 

The conference agenda, including conference workshops, is now posted on the conference website www.ovcinc.org. Please note that there is a separate webpage for “Other Events” on the conference website.

Registration 


When can I register for the Conference?

Online registration is now open! Please click here to be directed to the Conference registration. Please note: online registration requires payment via Credit/Debit card. If you plan on paying for the registration fees using check, money order or cashier’s check, see the corresponding question below. We accept cash on-site. 

Where can I find a paper copy of the registration form?

How much are registration fees?

The conference registration rate is $200. If you plan on paying for the registration fees using check, money order or cashier’s check, see the corresponding question below. 

When did the Early Bird rate end? 

The early bird rate ended September 12, 2016. Payments made after September 12th will be registered under the regular registration fee rate. 

What does the registration fee cover? 

The registration fee covers access to all scheduled events, workshops, exhibits and vendors; conference program, includes a working dinner, working luncheon and refreshments throughout the conference, other resource materials. You may purchase additional tickets for the working dinner and luncheon through your online registration or on-site; if you have guests who will be in attendance but not registered for the conference. 

 

Can I pay my registration fee with a Check, Money Order or Cashier’s Check? 

Yes, please make any check, money order or cashier’s check payable to: Tribal Law and Policy Institute.

Once we receive your payment and registration form you will receive a confirmation registration email. Registration forms received without payment will be issued an invoice for payment. 

On-Site Registration with a Check

If you plan on bringing your check, money order or cashier’s check to the conference, please fax your completed registration form to (323) 650-5467 by November 18, 2016 and indicate that you will be paying via Check/Money Order/ Cashier’s Check. When you arrive at the conference, please proceed to On-Site Registration area with your payment to complete your registration. 

When will online registration close?

Online registration will close on November 18, 2016. 

Will there be On-Site Registration? 

Yes, we will have on-site registration on Wednesday, December 6th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and Thursday, December 8th from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM. 

What do I need to do to cancel my registration? 

You may cancel your online registration using the login information you created during your online registration. Registration cancellations will be refunded less a $25.00 administrative charge. No refunds will be made after November 18, 2016. Alternatively, you may transfer your registration to another person at no charge.

Can I transfer my registration to another person? 

Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person at no charge, but only with the receipt of a substitute registration form. Transfer requests must be received by November 18, 2016.  

Scholarship Applications 


What is the deadline for scholarship applications?

The scholarship deadline was September 19, 2016. 

 I submitted my application, when will I find out if I am awarded a scholarship?

Scholarship recipients have been notified. Please contact us if you have not received your notification. Note: it is possible that your email notification may be in your junk mail folder.

Does the Scholarship cover CEU / CLE Credit?

No, scholarship recipients are responsible for the CEU / CLE $25.00 fee. 

I received a scholarship, do I need to register for the conference? 

Yes, the scholarship application process is separate from the conference registration. If awarded you will receive scholarship acceptance instructions via email.
